Bloom Reunion Party
For this one we’re heading back to The Horse and Groom - our favourite party venue in the heart of Shoreditch, East London. A tarted up boozer with two floors, each equipped with rather large sound systems and a 4am license to boot! The soundtrack for the evening will be provided by some of our favourite friends both old and new, ensuring that there will be a spot on party vibe all night long.

THANK YOU
We have also reviewed and taken your other comments and feedback on board as to how we can improve Bloom for the future – thank you. It’s takes time and a little bit of tweakin’ - we can’t wait till Bloom 2009!
There are so many people who have helped and supported us but special thanks goes out to Dan & Nessie Powell, the local residents of Coberley and Seven Springs, our friends in Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath, the Gooding and Chapman families, Julia Manninen, Philip Rowe, Caroline Armitage, Dore Ann Mendelsberg, Simon Jeynes, Rob Johnston, Nick Tallents & crew, Chris Beale, Rob Spring, Anna Melton & their awesome team, Pippa, Jules, Jonas, Addy, Chris McCormick and all our wonderful artists and promoters.
And you. Thanks you for making Bloom what it really is.
See you next year.
Love lots, Olivia & Franc x
Some Line Up Cancellations…
Unfortunately we have had to cancel a few artists due to slower than expected advance ticket sales. This coupled with the current economic climate (which has had a major knock on effect in the festival sector) has made it very difficult for many outdoor events this summer. You may have noticed that quite a few have already been canceled this summer due to a combination of slow ticket sales and many contractors demanding 100% deposits for essential infrastructure. With these issues to juggle it has meant that our event has struggled with cash flow. Despite the fact that there’s a large amount of money tied up in the event which will become available to us during and after the event, some artists have decided to pull their shows.
As we have been determined to not let circumstance claim yet another small UK festival scalp we have decided to go ahead with the event. This does mean that we will be operating without some bands and DJs that were originally programmed and these are listed below:
Brand New Heavies, Kyte, The Nextmen, Super Nashwan, The Glimmers The Presets and Maurice Fulton.
Also The Black Seeds have been forced to cancel but this is due to the lead singer having a serious family matter to attend to back in New Zealand.
We’ve also just heard that Akil from Jurassic 5 has been held up at immigration in London and has just been sent home because he didn’t have a work visa. It looks very unlikely that we will be able to get him back into the country in time - which we are gutted about!!
We are really sorry if this news affects the weekend you had been planning. What we can assure you we did our very best to deliver everything we promised in terms of line up, but sometimes these decisions are beyond our control. We have done everything we can to make sure that the rest of our line up appears as planned, and we have more than enough excellent entertainment taking place to warrant a fantastic weekend of Bloom fun.
We thank you for your understanding about this. Should you have any complaints then please do contact us, but be aware that we are going to very busy with things for another few weeks.
Kind regards,
Franc & Olivia
